In this course, students will learn general strategies for planning, designing, developing, implementing, and 
maintaining an IoT system through various case studies and by assembling and configuring an IoT device to 
work in a sensor network. Students will create an IoT device based on an ESP8266 microcontroller, 
implementing various common IoT features, such as analogue and digital sensors, a web-based interface, 
MQTT messaging, and data encryption.

This exam will certify that the candidate has the knowledge and skill set of AI concepts, technologies, and tools that will enable them to become capable AI practitioners in a wide variety of AI-related job functions.

This course takes cybersecurity practice to the next level. It is an advanced experience that builds upon 
the defensive skills and knowledge taught by the CyberSec First Responder® (Exam CFR-410) course. It is 
an applied experience in that it almost entirely consists of hands-on exercises featuring many different 
tools and environments. 
The "A" in CFR-A can also refer to the cybersecurity modes this course is built around: 
 Attack: Simulating attacks on computing assets to test security measures and learn more about 
threat vectors. 
 Analyze: Identifying, detecting, and assessing threats to learn more about how they operate and 
how they affect security. 
 Address: Implementing countermeasures and other protections to mitigate the impact of
threats to security. 

This course covers network defense and incident response methods, tactics, and procedures that are in 
alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST 800-61r2 (Computer Security Incident Handling 
Guide), US-CERT's National Cyber Incident Response Plan (NCIRP), and Presidential Policy Directive 
(PPD)-41 on Cyber Incident Coordination, NIST 800.171r2 (Protecting Controlled Unclassified 
Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations). It is ideal for candidates who have been tasked 
with the responsibility of monitoring and detecting security incidents in information systems and 
networks, and for executing standardized responses to such incidents. The course introduces tools, 
tactics, and procedures to manage cybersecurity risks, defend cybersecurity assets, identify various 
types of common threats, evaluate the organization's security, collect and analyze cybersecurity 
intelligence, and remediate and report incidents as they occur. This course provides a comprehensive 
methodology for individuals responsible for defending the cybersecurity of their organization.
